2026 CPIAP Symposium on Pressure Injuries: Directions for Poster Authors

Oct 29
1 min read

CPIAP would like to thank the poster presentation authors and presenters for the time and effort put into preparing for the 2026 CPIAP Symposium in Calgary.

Poster authors and/or presenters are reminded to please finalize the details of their presentation by Tuesday, November 17.

Presenters should note the following:

  • Presentation files must consist of one horizontal (landscape) slide, submitted as a PowerPoint or PDF, so it displays well on screen.

  • There is no required symposium-branded template; presenters may use their own design.

  • Presenters will have four minutes to speak.

  • The poster presentation session runs from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Alberta time, as shown in the program. We expect all poster authors to be available from at least 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Alberta time.

  • We will confirm your presentation time after the final presentation file is submitted. The sooner final details are confirmed, the sooner timeslots are confirmed.

For virtual presentations, it is generally expected that the primary author or one designated individual presents.

Each virtual presenter will receive a personalized Zoom panelist link associated with their name and email address. Further presentation details and instructions will follow closer to the date of the symposium.

Once presentation times are confirmed, all presenters should check the corresponding local time for the symposium date, accounting for any daylight saving time changes.
