Call for Nominations
CPIAP Board of Directors

CPIAP is pleased to announce the official Call for Nominations for the 2026 Board of Directors.

​

CPIAP is committed to a transparent, equitable, and regional representative nomination and election process. We encourage qualified members from across our international community to consider serving in leadership.

​

Board positions will commence ______, 2026, immediately following the CPIAP Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Positions Open for Nomination

 

Executive Positions

Regional Director Positions

The following Regional Director positions are open for nomination:

  1. Regional Director – Asia

  2. Regional Director – Australia / New Zealand

  3. Regional Director – Latin America (Portuguese)

  4. Regional Director – Latin America (Spanish)

  5. Regional Director – United Kingdom

 

Term:
  • May 27, 2026 – May 2028 (following the AGM)

  • Eligible to stand for an additional two-year term.

Qualifications

 

To be eligible, Directors must:
  1. Be at least eighteen (18) years of age

  2. Be a CPIAP Member in good standing

  3. Be employed as a healthcare professional with a focus on wound management and/or skin tear prevention and management

  4. Not be an employee or representative of a company whose primary business involves the development, manufacture, and sole distribution of products in the field of wound or skin care

  5. Not be a contractor of CPIAP

  6. Be in good financial standing

  7. Not have the status of a bankrupt

  8. Not have been found mentally incompetent by a court in Canada or elsewhere

Nomination Procedure

Nominations must be submitted online through the official CPIAP nomination forms on this page.

 

The following must be completed by the deadline:
  • Nomination Form

  • Nomination Acceptance Form

  • Consent to Serve Form

 

All forms must be submitted online by ________

Upon submission, nominators and nominees will receive an automatic email confirmation.

 

If confirmation is not received, please contact admin@cpiap.com.

Election Process

All nominations are reviewed by the CPIAP Nominating Committee Chair and the Nominating Committee.

  • If a position is unopposed, the candidate will be acclaimed.

  • If a position is contested, an election will be held at the CPIAP AGM.

 

Voting is conducted via secure and anonymous Zoom polling.

​

Only CPIAP Class A Members (Executive Board and Regional Directors) are eligible to vote.

 

All candidates must:

  • Accept their nomination

  • Consent to serve if elected

  • Agree to participate in and accept the outcome of anonymous Zoom polling conducted by CPIAP Class A Members
