The Canadian Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (CPIAP) is proud to join the worldwide campaign to prevent pressure injuries on Worldwide Pressure Injury Prevention Day, observed on November 21, 2024. This annual campaign raises public awareness and promotes education on the prevention & management of pressure injuries, which impact thousands of Canadians each year and even more globally.

In support of this global initiative, CPIAP will host the Canadian Pressure Injury Summit: “A Nation Under Pressure” on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM ET. The event will be supported by Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Canada (NSWOCC).

This free, hybrid event will gather key federal and provincial decision-makers, healthcare leaders, and interprofessional experts to address one of Canada's most pressing healthcare challenges: pressure injuries.
