Olubukunola (Bukkie) Akinwuntan is married, a mother of 2 awesome children. She moved to Canada with her family in April 2014.

She has been a nurse for 27 years with a Bachelors degree in Human Nutrition and a Masters degree in Public Health (Health Promotion & Education.

She pursued further education here in Canada, specializing as a Wound, ostomy, and Continence Nurse, abd currently works in the position. She also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the Grand Canyon University, Arizona, USA.

Her dedication and contribution to improving healthcare and support to her community is relentless and fulfilling.
