Beverly Beck graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with my BScN in 2006 and 3 years later completed my certification with CAET which is now known as NSWOCC. She was already working at that time as an Enterostomal Therapy nurse with Kings County Home Care. My practice centred around consulting in two different communities and seeing patients in acute care, long term care and home-based care. She would occasionally see people in private community care as well. Beverly is involved in the provinces Skin and Wound Group, and in her current position in Home Care, she is on the Skin and Wound Committee and presently, they are working on the ROP’s for the upcoming accreditation review.
