Canadian Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (CPIAP) Joins Global Movement for Worldwide Pressure Injury Prevention Day on November 21, 2024
Welcome to CPIAP!
The Canadian Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (CPIAP) is the Pan-Canadian Interprofessional Approach to Address the Prevention and Management of Pressure Injuries
Pressure injuries are a growing concern in Canada. In order to address the national issue of pressure injuries in Canada, we are bringing together an interprofessional, nationwide panel. This pan-Canadian panel will be represented by a cross section of clinicians and researchers from different healthcare sectors from acute care to the community.
Mission
CPIAP is an inter-professional collaboration dedicated to improving lives of persons affected by pressure injuries across the continuum of care through research, knowledge translation, policy, and advocacy.
Vision
Canada united in pressure injury prevention, management, and policy.
November 21, 2024 is Worldwide Pressure Injury Prevention Day!
