
Dr. Laurie Parsons

Dr Parsons is a Royal College trained dermatologist who has spent 20 years in the area of chronic wounds, contact dermatitis and general practice of skin disease. Originally a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland, she finished her post graduate training at the University of Ottawa. Currently Dr Parsons is the Medical Director of the Calgary Zone Wound Clinic, Vice Chair of the Dermatology Sub-specialty Committee at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Co-Chair of the Clinical Pathway to Care for the Diabetic Foot in Alberta and Chair of Dermatology undergraduate education at the Cummings School of Medicine. Relocating in 2004, Dr Parsons is now another proud Albertan and enjoys the beauty of the Rocky Mountains in her backyard.
