About the Symposium

Building on the success of the 2024 and 2025 Canadian Pressure Injury Summits, the Canadian Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (CPIAP) is excited to present the 2026 CPIAP Symposium on Pressure Injuries—an expanded 1.5-day national event dedicated to advancing pressure injury prevention and management across Canada.

The symposium will bring together provincial and federal leaders, healthcare administrators, clinicians, researchers, educators, students, industry partners, and persons with lived experience to share evidence, innovative practices, and practical solutions that improve outcomes for patients and healthcare systems.

The symposium will take place over 1.5 days:

  • Thursday, November 26, 2026: Full day of keynote presentations, educational sessions, research, and networking.

  • Friday, November 27, 2026: Half-day of programming, designed to accommodate travel schedules while providing meaningful educational opportunities.
